Branson Area Festival of Lights
Branson Area Festival of Lights is a spectacular lighting display with over a million-holiday light. Over 100 displays of lights sparkle along the Branson Hills Parkway.
Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights
A drive through a tour through this Christmas Wonderland ends at Inspiration Tower. Climb to the top of the tower for a breathtaking view of the glittering lights of Branson. The trail of lights is a 2.5 mile display of multi-colors Christmas lights and animated displays on a winding trail. Christmas on the Trail runs until December 29.
Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is a holiday paradise from the 1880’s. Special shows take place throughout the park. Silver Dollar City is filed with strolling carolers in period costumes, the warming smells of hot cider and roasted nuts. The Christmas tree is a 17-foot spectacle that talks and a magnificent five story Christmas Tree with lights synchronized to music. See a live production of the Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol,” featuring flying spirits, disappearing ghosts, and singing statues. Silver Dollar City’s “Old Time Christmas” runs from November 3 to December 30.
Annual Adoration Parade takes place on December 2. The old fashioned parade features over 70 bands and floats that pass through the streets of downtown Branson. The climax of the Adoration Parade to the lighting of the nativity scene on top of Mount Branson.
The Tree Lighting Celebration transforms Branson into a magical holiday wonderland. Each evening at 5:30 pm, guests gather on the Square to witness the lighting of the glittering Special Effects Christmas Tree, which is a spectacular seven stories high. The Christmas tree is decorated with over 250,000 lights which are coordinated to sparkle in coordination with the movements of Christmas songs. The Christmas Tree plays classic Holiday sons, such a Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus’ and the ‘Carol of the Bells.”
